Environmental Network

Enco Global Testing Services provides a wide range of services to the textile industry through the activities of our Environmental Network.
This provides a cost-effective way of addressing generic environmental issues, solving common problems and carrying out research.
Funded by the membership, the Network is open to all relevant manufacturing companies.
Network activities include:

Comprehensive assistance with IPPC permit application, preparation, Site Condition reports, Improvement Notices, and general maintenance of individual permits together with liaison with the Environment Agency.

Analysis and reporting of quarterly testing of effluents and emissions for IPPC permits

Design and optimisation of effluent plant

Selection of detergents, auxiliaries, and other textile treatment chemicals

Practical waste auditing and waste minimisation

Mothproofing application, control and management in effluent

Pesticide releases and monitoring

Carpet yarn scouring and finishing

Fibre, yarn and fabric finishing

Provision of assistance with Health & Safety and related testing of workplaces and employees
